How to take a perfect photo of your guinea pigs, my tips for you

Hi readers, todays post is how to take a perfect photo of your guinea pigs. I thought this would be a good one to do as I have taken so many perfect pigtures of Bramble and Patches that are on this blog.

These are my tips on taking a perfect picture.

1.Have a good camera. I have the Nikon Coolpix L31 and I would recommend this camera as it's not too expensive compared to other types of camera. This camera is small and compact which is useful if your piggies are outside.

2.Use plain coloured blankets or towels. If you don't have plain towels or blankets, one with a not too detailed pattern will work.

3.Make sure your camera is in focus before taking the picture!

4.Groom your guinea pigs so they look good. You don't want it too look scruffy(well, unless its an abby or another rough haired breed).

5.Take photos without flash and in natural lighting.

6. Don't force your guinea pig to sit still, let it fidget for a bit. Would you like it if you were forced to sit still to have your photo taken?

7. Feed the piggies treats after each photo so they are happy.

8. Take lots of photos so you can chose the best ones.

9. Use your piggies natural poses. Like this oneOr this one! Guinea pigs are naturally curious of new objects so they will investigate your camera. If they try to nibble it you should move it further away!

10. Don't put jumpers or other clothes on your pigs. If you want to use a prop make a hat out of felt or cardboard like the Christmas hats I made.

11. Most importantly make sure your piggies are happy.

I hope you use these tips when taking piggie photos,

Book Worm :)
